About

Hi! I’m Jess and I created NutriVice® with the purpose of helping athletes perform at their best in addition to raising more awareness around REDs/disordered eating/eating disorders in sport to:

  1. Prevent it from occurring

  2. Develop a system for athletes, so that they know who to reach out to and how to get help

  3. Provide guidance/nutrition coaching to those in need so that they can get back on track and reach their athletic potential

From my experience as a collegiate distance runner, proper fuelling is of upmost importance and is part of the puzzle that facilitates being a successful athlete. Disordered eating/eating disorders/REDs are not uncommon among athletes, and my goal is to create a safe space where athletes feel supported and heard.

I like to take a client-centred approach so that recommendations can be best tailored to your needs, schedule and your preferences. I view all foods neutrally, and therefore don’t categorize foods as bad or good…balance is key!

Additionally, I love to teach and also work as a contract faculty member at Brescia University/College (affiliate of Western University) in the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences.
